Born in Bristol, I grew up in Zambia and then South Africa, where I completed my medical school training at the University of Cape Town. What a fantastic city for a student! I moved to England in 1990, where I undertook general surgery training at some of the London teaching hospitals.
Plastic Surgery experience was gained through various London teaching hospitals including St Thomas. I completed training at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, where I was appointed a consultant in 2003. I resigned this post in 2006 to concentrate on developing my private cosmetic surgical practice, and to have more of a balance life with my wife and three young children.
With my ongoing experience I have a busy and well established plastic surgical practice, based in central and East Kent.
I am on the GMC Specialist register in Plastic Surgery, and work under the guidelines and control of these and other government organisations.
I attend international meetings and conventions, and subscribe to various professional journals. I am a member of BAPRAS (the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), and ISAPS (the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).
