At 36, I was uncomfortable with the way my face had changed and felt i looked older than my years due to smoking, sunbathing and using sunbeds throughout my late teens up until my early thirties. I could actually feel the lines in my forehead, they were that deep!

I never really considered botox, but once I heard that Kelly was going to become qualified to practice, that was it I didn't think of myself as particulary lined but I did think that my frown was growing a lump (too much frowning) so for me it was about acheiving a relaxed look. I questioned Kelly thoroughly (probably drove her mad) but she was brilliant, she laid to rest any fears that I had and I decided to take the plunge! It coincided with a beauty salon open evening and I agreed to be Kelly's model I felt completely at ease I will say that I am not too worried about needles anyway, but my personal experience was far better than expected and far less painful than expected (having seen people on telly) I had no bruising or swelling only a couple of slightly raised bumps but by the morning they had disappeared, I was amazed at how quickly the procedure was carried out and as I had agreed to be Kelly's model we also did my crows feet.  I have had amazing reactions everybody saw an improvement, there are no lines on my forehead and I stopped looking at a grumpy frown face in the mirror, and a lot of people thought I had lost weight! thats got to be good, it has definately boosted my confidence and I love the results.

I have every confidence in Kelly especially since she has a medical background, she was thorough with all the documentation and ensuring that I was suitable for the procedure.  I trust her completely. I found Kelly honest open and sincere about all aspects of Botox and I would have no hesitation in recommending her services. I had seen a girl and her eyes really stood out. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Then a lady at work had what was called an “eye lash enhancement” and the results were amazing. She had instant eyeliner and her eye lashes looked fuller. I immediately said “I want that”.

I was a bit apprehensive to begin with as the thought of needles and eyes, for me, was way out of my comfort zone, plus I didn’t think I would be able to keep still.

I finally plucked up the courage to make an appointment for a consultation with Kelly at her home. I was nervous, but when she opened the door I was immediately at ease as she had had her eye liner procedure the night before by another technician.

I recognised her from somewhere, as we talked she told me she had practiced as a midwife around the time I had my son in 2007. I felt totally comfortable with her being that she is also a qualified Nurse. She has a great bedside manner and was very easy to talk to, I knew I was in good hands.

The procedure for me was comfortable, at a really nice pace and the environment is very relaxed. I didn’t realise there were so many colours to choose and styles to suit your eye shape, it really was a very personal experience.

Throughout the procedure Kelly was chatting to me and checking that I was comfortable, she has hands of steel and she is very confident.

I think it’s really important to believe in what you do and be willing to test things out on yourself. I told Kelly this and she replied, “I’m not testing for that reason alone” she continued “I wanted it, because I think it looks beautiful.” I knew then I was going to be happy with the result.

Since the procedure I do still wear make up but I get up and look much fresher, and it takes me only a few minutes to be ready to be seen by others. I feel more confident, as a busy working mum its really handy to only have to put mascara on and I’m now walking around with that look that people can’t quite put their finger on, I have had loads of comments – it’s great.

The added bonus is, as your eye is lined, if you want to get glammed up for the evening you already have the base line. So by adding eye liner and false lashes you can really turn the volume up in half the time.

Overall my experience has been excellent. The healing time was under a week, I would recommend for anyone who wants to look that bit different or wants to make the most of their eyes without make up or with.

Kelly was fantastic. She’s very easy to get along with and has her finger on the pulse on what’s current. She’s happy to advise but will also tailor the procedure to bring out the best in your features im now considering lips and eyebrows.

Why not make the most of what we have girls? It’s good fun and a real boost.
