The History of Hopi Ear Candles
This ancient and natural therapy has been handed down to us through the mists of time by many civilizations.
We are told that many ancient cultures including the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks and early Aborigines used ear candles; initially they were doubtless reeds employed for cleansing, possibly purifying and healing on a spiritual level. Much later the use of hollow twigs and a crude form of pottery cone was used; the amazing efficiency of the candles on a purely physical level was also discovered. Hopi means 'peaceful ones' or 'people of peace'. The Hopi were the first settled Pueblo Indians of the North American Continent. For many centuries they lived in harmony with nature, using Fire, herbs, smoke & heat adhering to original universal laws passed down to them by the great creator Massuu. Their responsible treatment of Mother Earth, their cultural standards, universal spirituality and pronounced knowledge of healing still underline the prominent status of these people.
The Hopi people are rapidly gaining respect for this extensive knowledge and great spirituality.
